9 Sauder Stories Worth Reading Right Now
If you’re looking for an inspirational book that you can use to start your day, here are nine stories from the life of Sir Winston Churchill. These are great reminders that even if you feel like you have no reason to live, you do have a reason to live and one of the best reasons is the reason you are reading this.
In all honesty I don't know about you, but I don't really feel like reading a book while I'm driving. Not today anyway.
But if youre ever tempted to listen to a book while you drive, these are some of the reasons you should do it. They’re short, to the point, and they tell you what Churchill was thinking and doing at a very quick glance. No boring old dang book that you have to turn the pages after you finish reading. And you dont need to be a Churchill expert to read these stories. The stories were culled from his diaries.
It was a huge task to compile the diaries from all these speeches and interviews. The speeches are very short, about half an hour in length. The stories are more like six or so sentences. So, this list is of the stories, not the speeches. But, here's the story that has me itching to get off my ass and read it.
Thats a story that is worth reading any day.
It's called "I am the Most Beautiful. The Most Painful." If you don't have a copy of Wuthering Heights or The Red Shoes yet, go read it and come back. That's the story of a 13 year old girl who starts to believe that a certain handsome guy is her true love.

We have a little bit of a history with Sauder. His first book, The Lost Boys of Bembridge, was about a girl who was sent away to boarding school at the age of 6 due to her parents' infidelity. Her parents had a thing for Wuthering Heights, and her father was a fan of the musical.
After a few years, Wuthering Heights came along and knocked her up.
Her parents eventually divorced, and Wuthering Heights was an integral part of her life. Her father had a hard time letting go of the love of his life, so he decided to send her away to boarding school, along with her two older brothers. After boarding school, she returned home to find her parents and a few of her brothers still living together. She's also met her sister, who was also in boarding school at the time. She started to hate boarding school, and started to write letters complaining about how her two older brothers were constantly in the bathroom and making her feel unsafe and lonely.
The sister told her that she wanted to be a writer, so she wrote a fictional book about the story of her sister. The book turned out to be a lot of trash, but its heroine was a little bit of a kickboxer, so the author decided to incorporate her into the book.
