What we got wrong about Craigslist is it’s not a place where you find a job, a room to rent, or a person to rent. It’s a place to advertise the things that you don’t have.

Craigslist is a place where anyone who has a problem can advertise their problems and see if anyone will rent their vacant apartment or room. So if you're not willing to rent your apartment to someone because you don't want to pay a month's rent because you can't afford to, that's not a good reason to not rent it. If you have a problem, you can advertise it on Craigslist, and if it doesn't work out you can always take it to the landlord.

I always think of the time my roommate and I spent a month living in a one-bedroom that was way too small for us and still had a bathroom that had been left up and running for two whole months because no one would rent it. But then we got to thinking about Craigslist.

Craigslist is where you can advertise things like.

I have a job that I would really like to have’ or ‘I have a nice apartment that I would be willing to move into’ and you can sell them for a lot of money. Why? Because the only time you have to show your goods in person is when you’re actually trying to sell them to someone. You can sell them on Craigslist without having to actually physically go there.

Although I’m sure it has its fair share of users who don’t follow the rule of “don’t advertise on Craigslist.” I love that they allow you to advertise things like “I have a house and I would like to make it my permanent home. I think the primary reason people don't advertise on Craigslist is that they want to be able to do so without fear of getting scammed. You can advertise to people on your own website, but you risk scaring them away if you advertise on Craigslist. A lot of people also don't feel comfortable advertising this info on Craigslist, so they just don't post it.

There is a lot of truth to this argument. The real reason why people don’t advertise on Craigslist is because they feel that it’s less stressful than posting ads in a classified section. The real benefit of Craigslist is that unlike some other websites, it does not charge for ads, so they can advertise things for free.

The real problem is that some Craigslist advertisers are posting things that just won't work in the real world. This is because Craigslist is an online marketplace where all the advertisers are different. They have different niches, different prices, and different interests. So there are a lot of ads that are just trying to be funny.

People with no knowledge of the real world are going to post things, some of which will work, and some of which will fail. To get out of that, Craigslist has a reputation for being the most difficult online marketplace to navigate. And that's because it can be a real mess.

What Craigslist does well is it allows users to choose the ads they want to see.

This lets you be picky about what you want to see. By doing this, you’ll make more sales. I’m not talking about your actual products, I’m talking about your image. You’ll know you’re selling something if you see your ad and a friend of yours does too. And that’s where you can truly make more sales.
